Inspired ease (Inspiration, part 1)

When was the last time you felt inspired?  Really inspired?

I once had a charismatic boss who held an inspired vision of possibility as well as the gift of oratory that evoked a powerful emotional response on the part of the listener. Although I sometimes got lost in the drudgery of the work, I could depend on being lifted into high-energy engagement through the stimulus of his vision.

One of the best ways to promote ease is through the catalyst of inspiration. There’s a lot of energy within the force of inspiration, and that energy can be used to foster ease in any endeavor.

Inspiration is like a spark, and may come as the voice of intuition that ignites an idea or an urge to action. And it’s infectious. When one person is inspired and shares that with others, the energy is contagious.

There’s a magical quality to inspiration because it opens up realms of creativity and out-of-the-box thinking. When we are inspired, we are better able to solve problems and make decisions because the energy and flow support us and the work becomes effortless.

Try this: Consider your answers to these questions:

  • What inspires you?
  • How does inspiration help to increase energy, flow and ease in your life?
  • What can you learn by noticing the role of inspiration in your life?

Our next post addresses the problem of blocked inspiration. Be sure to check back.

To your ease!
